What to see

437 bird-species have been recorded and acknowledged in Portugal (including the Atlantic islands) until the present day. About 330 of wich occur with regularity. About 270 bird-species can be seen in the south of the country throughout a year, plus possible vagrants and rarities.

R = Resident
E = Summer visitor
I = Wintering
MP = Passage migrant
Int = Introduced

Abundance (abundância):

1 = Very common
2 = Common
3 = Less common
4 = Uncommon
5 = Rare
